The fastest way to reach the studio is email, and the fastest way to get a useful answer is to include the details listed below. We read every enquiry ourselves, so nothing sits in a queue or passes through a call center.
How to reach us
- Email: hello@lanternbaytravel.com
- Phone: +1 (415) 555-0192, weekdays from nine in the morning until six in the evening, Pacific time.
- Studio: 2288 Fillmore St Suite 4, San Francisco, CA 94115, visits by appointment.
- Reply time: two business days, and usually sooner than that.
If your dates are close, say so in the first line of the message. We will tell you honestly whether the window is realistic before you plan around anything else.
What to include
A first message does not need to be long, but it should carry enough for us to price an idea rather than guess at one. Five lines is usually plenty to start.
- Travel dates, or the month you are working with and how many nights you have.
- Where you would be departing from, since the routing depends on it.
- Who is traveling, including ages and anything that shapes the pace of a day.
- A budget range per person, in whatever currency is convenient for you.
- The two or three things the trip must include, and one thing it should avoid.
Anything else you already know helps: hotel preferences, an anniversary date, a flight certificate, or a previous trip you would like to top. We would rather have too much context than too little.
What happens next
We reply within two business days with either a few questions or a proposed time for a consultation. The consultation runs 45 to 60 minutes and carries no cost and no obligation on either side.
If the trip suits the studio, a written proposal follows within 5 to 10 business days of that call, itemized down to room categories and cancellation terms. If it does not suit us, we will say so plainly and point you toward a better answer wherever we can.
You can also use the start-here page before writing, since the thirteen guides there cover most of the questions that come up in a first conversation. Plenty of clients arrive with a plan they have already sketched from one of them.
